It is well heated and has good natural light with excellent additional top lighting. The moveable tables encourage different teaching environments. Pin boards are available for students, if they wish to review their work.

number 6 studio gallery is also a resource for individuals or groups of artists and craftspeople who can book the space and equipment.

Specialist equipment includes:

• Two printing presses, suitable for etching, lino cut and embossing
• A small screen printing table
• A scanner printer, and computers with In Design, Paint Shop Pro, Page Plus and Microsoft Office
• Paper making equipment
• Smaller equipment including trimmer, drawing boards, easels and drying rack
• Paper, printing inks and computer consumables are available at cost

Moveable tables and chairs can be stored away and the area converts to an exhibition space.
